Head of School Search Timeline

The permanent Head of School is expected to start in July of 2017. Below is an outline of the search process calendar:

October 2016 – February 2017

Partners in Mission met with focus groups representing parents, legacy school alumni, faculty, staff and students from Pope Francis High School and will use the information gathered to develop a detailed position description with expected requirements. They will prepare a detailed Search Prospectus that highlights the PFHS community, culture and opportunities.

The search will start with prospective candidates most familiar with the unique opportunities and challenges the position affords. It will be expanded throughout the U.S. to recruit the most personally, professionally and culturally fit candidate. Once vetted, Partners in Mission will provide a list of top candidates for consideration by the search committee who will meet with candidates to narrow down the list of semi-finalists.

February 2017 – April 2017

After the semi-finalist interviews, finalists will be selected by the search committee. They will have the opportunity to visit Pope Francis High School family and the search committee will receive feedback from various members of the school community. At the conclusion of the process, the search committee will recommend the most appropriate candidate to the full Board of Trustees, for affirmation by Bishop Mitchell T. Rozanski. The search committee anticipates securing the Head of School by April.
