“Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25: 40

The Community Service program seeks to encourage students to put their Catholic Christian faith into action and to be spiritually transformed through their contact with Christ through service to the poor, needy, and their own communities. Students have much flexibility in the choice of their assignments. Students are encouraged to find a service activity in which they would be interested. Generally, students will find such opportunities in their parishes, nursing homes, hospitals, food pantries, soup kitchens, etc. The possibilities for meaningful service are endless!

The number of hours students must serve varies by grade level:

Freshmen: twelve (12) hours
Sophomores: twelve (12) hours
Juniors: twenty-four (24) hours
Seniors: twenty-four (24) hours

Completion of all service hours is a graduation requirement.
