The Guidance Department is committed to supporting each student’s successful high school career. Our counselors meet regularly with students throughout the academic year, and students have the following services open to them and their families:
Our counselors work with students to create the necessary curriculum that encompasses the Pope Francis High School requirements for graduation as well as the development of a student’s particular interests.
The college counselor works with Pope Francis students and their families throughout the college search process, including:
- Researching colleges
- Navigating the application, financial aid and enrollment process
- Assisting with writing essays, completing applications, forms and the financial aid process

Students who wish to participate at the division one or two level must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Registration requirements and detailed information about the process can be found at this website.
The NCAA helps students identify which schools play sports they are interested. The site has information on the school, division, conference and region, as well as contact information for the school.
